Hi everyone,
We are happy to announce that we are hiring for another position at the Thousand Brains Project! We are looking for a developer advocate to serve as an interface between our internal team and the growing developer and contributor community.
Our aim is to continually improve the support and resources we provide to all of you here, to decrease the steepness of the Monty/TBT learning curve, and to reduce pain points for developers who want to work with Monty. We are therefore looking for a new full-time team member who is dedicated to these goals.
To understand developers’ pain points, we are looking for someone with a technical background and experience with open-source software. This person will also need excellent communication skills, both to convey our work and approach, and to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds. They will also need to quickly understand complex concepts, such as the research underlying the Thousand Brains Principles, and know how to break them down and communicate them to a broader audience. See the full job description and requirements here.
This new role will also partially cover the responsibilities of our former community manager, @brainwaves , who is unfortunately no longer at the TBP. We are grateful for all the contributions he made and wish him all the best for the future!
If you are interested in applying or know someone who would be a good fit, please check out the full job posting. Feel free to comment here or write to careers@thousandbrains.org if you have any questions.
