Hi everyone! A big thank you to the team for the online meetup today!
My name is Yiannos and I am an MD/PhD student in the US. I am finishing up my second year of medical school and will be starting my PhD in Computer Science. I am skilled at Python and C++ and have a lot of experience integrating CS in med/bio research (data analysis, classical ML, computer vision). My interests lie in creating true machine intelligence, and I have been following Numenta for years because I knew as soon as I read the TBP book that it was the correct path! On my free time I run a software for research company so I haven’t had the time to contribute here but I think it’s about time I got involved now that I will have more availability (PhD requirements are more lax than med school..). I will take a look at what needs to be done and start doing work!
