2025/11 - Discussing Attention, Causality, and the Role of the Hippocampus for Action Outputs

@vclay presents a recap of recent discussions, covering attention as a mechanism for learning and inference, causality, and the role of the hippocampus. She then introduces three new ideas and possible directions: (1) learning action selection via an inverse causality model, (2) planning novel actions using a hippocampal preplay-like mechanism, and (3) applying our updated view of attention and mental imagery to multitasking, such as driving while having a conversation.
